Buying branded tableware is one of the simplest ways for a café, hotel or shop to make its table look like its own. A logo on a plate, a cup that matches the interior, or a bowl set designed around a restaurant's menu all add to the guest experience. The difficulty is usually not the design. It is finding a supplier who can take your artwork, produce it consistently, and ship it to your country without losing months along the way.

This guide explains how private label and custom logo orders work when you buy directly from a ceramic manufacturer in Türkiye. It covers the steps from artwork to delivery, what to check before you approve a design, and how to plan your order.

What private label tableware means

Private label tableware is ceramic ware produced for your business, carrying your name or logo instead of the manufacturer's. In practice, you choose a shape from an existing range or brief a new one, and the factory decorates it with your artwork. Hotels use this for in-room and restaurant service. Cafés use it for cups, saucers and small plates. Retail shops sell it under their own label.

There are two common routes. The first is to adapt an existing collection, such as one of the designs in our Dilek Ağacı or Verna series, with your logo or colour palette applied. The second is a fully custom piece, where the shape, rim and decoration are developed around your brand. The first route is usually faster and more economical. The second gives you a set that no other business has.

How the process works, from artwork to delivery

The stages are similar for most orders, though the length of each depends on how complex the decoration is.

1. Brief and artwork. Send your logo as a vector file if possible, along with the colours you need and the pieces you are interested in. A vector file, such as an AI, EPS or SVG, keeps edges sharp at any size. If you only have a raster image, send the highest resolution you have and we will advise whether it is usable.

2. Technical review. Before anything is produced, the team checks whether the artwork suits the shape you have chosen. Very fine lines, large solid areas of dark colour and gradients behave differently on ceramic than on paper. We will tell you where a change would improve the result.

3. Proof and sample. You receive a proof showing how the design sits on the chosen piece. For many buyers, a physical sample is worth the time. It lets you check colour, scale and the feel of the glaze before committing to a full order.

4. Production. Once you approve the sample and order details, the pieces go into production in our own factory in Istanbul. Because we make the ceramic and apply the decoration on site, changes during production can be handled directly rather than passed between subcontractors.

5. Quality checks and packing. Pieces are checked before packing. Packaging for export is chosen to protect the goods over long transit, and we can discuss packing requirements if your receiving partner has specific needs.

6. Shipping. Your order is dispatched by the courier option you select. Details are covered below.

Lead time and minimum order quantity

We do not publish a single lead time or minimum order quantity for all custom work, because both depend on the shape, the number of colours in the design, and whether the piece is adapted from an existing range or developed from scratch. A simple logo on an established shape is quicker and more accessible than a multi-colour design on a new form.

When you send an enquiry, we will confirm the minimum quantity and a production timeline in writing before any work begins. Ask for both at the same time, so you can plan your opening date or menu launch around a realistic schedule rather than an estimate.

Food-safe glaze and dishwasher-safe decoration

For a café or hotel, the questions that matter most are practical. Can the pieces go through a commercial dishwasher? Will the decoration survive daily use? Is the glaze safe for food contact?

Our ceramic tableware uses a food-safe glaze, and the pieces are dishwasher and microwave safe. Those are the standards we stand behind for our range. For custom decoration, the durability you can expect depends on the decoration method and on how the piece is used and washed. Ask us for the test information relevant to the decoration you choose, and check it against your own dishwasher programme and detergent. A good supplier will be specific about this rather than vague.

Choosing the right pieces for your business

The right range depends on how your business serves food and drink. A few general points help when you are planning.

Breakfast service calls for a mix of plates, bowls and cups. Hotels often use a larger main plate with a smaller side plate for bread or fruit. You can see our options in breakfast sets.

Restaurant service usually centres on dinner plates, side plates, soup bowls and pasta bowls. If you run a tasting menu, consider a smaller plate that makes the portions look generous. Browse dinnerware sets to compare place settings.

Cafés rely heavily on cups, saucers and small serving pieces. A branded coffee cup is often the most visible item a customer takes home in their memory, so it is worth investing in the cup first. See our coffee and tea sets.

Cake and serving pieces suit patisseries, bakeries and hotel lounges. Stands, platters and cake plates with a branded rim are practical and photograph well. Explore serving and cake sets.

When you compare pieces, check the exact dimensions on each product page. Place setting sizes that work well in a small café may be too large for a tasting-style restaurant, so it is worth confirming with a sample before committing to a full range.

Shipping and import duties

We ship worldwide. The courier cost is shown at checkout, so you can see the shipping charge for your delivery address before you pay. Import duties and any local taxes are paid by the recipient, and they vary by country. Check with your customs authority or your freight agent before you order, so that the landed cost is clear from the start.

For larger orders, we can discuss wholesale terms and the logistics involved. Visit our wholesale page to start that conversation, or browse the full product range to see which pieces might suit your project.

Gifting and branded sets for your customers

Private label ware is not only for service. Many shops sell branded coffee sets, small plates and serving pieces as gifts, particularly around holidays and opening events. A boxed set with your logo on the packaging and the piece itself turns a purchase into something people give to others. If you plan to sell through a retail channel, agree on quantities and packaging early so the product arrives in time for the season you have in mind.

Before you place an order

A short checklist will save time:

  • Have your logo as a vector file, with the colours you want noted.
  • Decide whether you want an adapted design or a fully custom piece.
  • Request a sample to check colour, scale and glaze.
  • Ask for the minimum order quantity and production timeline in writing.
  • Confirm the dishwasher and microwave care guidance for your chosen decoration.
  • Check import duties for your country before you approve the final order.

If you would like to discuss a project, send us a brief with your business type, the pieces you need and your timeline. We will reply with the practical options and the next steps.
